I will build My Church
“I will build My church…” (Matt 16:18).
Jesus our Lord is doing just that – building. In June we experienced our churches coming together in hosting a youth outreach. We have been led to not leave this as an occasional get-together but to passionately and intentionally stir the spiritual outpouring among our young people to get their eyes off and out of the world and to focus on Jesus the One who loves and cares truly.
In July we have joined together with our brothers and sisters in the AGS and NG churches in 40 days of prayer and fasting for the elections. This is coupled with our own prayer drive and the results are tangible.
With the focus on the church we will be hosting Open Doors on 28th August 2016 for the morning service. Please support this ministry and invite your friends and family. The persecuted church needs us!
Then in September we will be hosting Adele Neveling and Seth Bredekamp. We are trusting the Lord for deliverance and salvation through their ministry. We are inviting all churches to attend and please invite your friends and family circle, especially those who need salvation.
Our feeding program continues daily and hospital visits needs to be restarted. So as you can see – we are busy…
Your church needs your participation, gifting and support. Psalm 37:3 – 5, “Trust in the Lord and DO good… Delight yourself in the Lord…COMMIT YOUR WAYS to the Lord. Trust also in Him and He will do it!!
The purpose of serving in the church is to glorify our Father God and minister to others. Serving Him in His church is also a form of worship, so come friends, get involved. Romans 12:1 tells us that this is our reasonable service to God.
To those already with shoulder to the wheel, smile, put on the garment of praise and thanksgiving, and enjoy the privilege of serving the King of kings and Lord of lords.
